ICHAI's mandate is to support responsible intelligence governance by:

• •Interpreting voluntary global frameworks related to human-intelligence interaction
• •Providing advisory guidance to institutions upon request
• •Facilitating cross-sector dialogue on cognitive and behavioural impact
• •Publishing discussion papers and interpretive notes
• •Supporting periodic review of referenced frameworks
